8 AM 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale
The 4-H and FFA livestock sale is where 4-H and FFA youth who are participating in market animal projects sell their project animal. The proceeds of each sale go to the individual 4-H and FFA members. Many of these young people put their sale earnings toward college, in addition to using the money to offset the costs of raising their animals and purchase a new market animal for the next year. When you purchase a 4-H or FFA animal at the sale, you are getting a high-quality product. Market animals are raised individually in the best conditions and on the best feed available. Many options are available that do not require you to buy an entire project animal.

Join the Jeannette Rankin Peace Resource Center on the first floor of the Commercial Building on August 9th for a celebration of Indigenous history and culture. Explore the remarkable selections at the Indigenous art market, enjoy performances of traditional singing, and participate in engaging interactive art projects. This event offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of Indigenous heritage and creativity.

Make sure to explore these exciting free activities available from 11am to 10pm! The Missoula County Fire Protection Association will host a coloring station for children, along with essential preparedness information. Don't miss the chance to admire a breathtaking quilted creation from The Montana Trans Quilt Project. Join the Scouting America Counsel, where you can challenge your Lego-building skills by constructing and racing your very own Lego car! Be sure to check out Off Leash K9 Training, which will provide delightful doggy face painting for kids and engaging table games with fantastic PRIZES! Swing by Forward Montana to register to vote and take a spin on the wheel for a chance to win some amazing prizes. Wild Montana will also be giving away free maps and coloring pages for children. While you're there, connect with the Zootown Arts Community Center (The ZACC), Missoula’s nonprofit arts hub. Join local artists and performers for free interactive art activities! Lastly, visit the Animeals table to craft a cat wand for your beloved pet or a shelter animal!
