Emma Witte is 11 years old and she’s been doing 4-H for two years. It’s her second year doing an animal project and her first year doing a tabletop project.
This year her animal project is a Yorkshire / Hampshire pig named Gertrude that loves to eat marshmallows. Emma’s favorite thing about her pig is her looks and her favorite thing to do with Gertrude is walk her when she’s nice.
Emma’s tabletop project this year is cooking. Her favorite part of cooking is getting to eat the things you make. She also enjoys the learning part of it. For her submission, she’s making deviled eggs and egg salad using eggs from their chickens.
